What does MemX Smart Scanner file?
New photos and documents on your phone, within the folders you include or exclude. It picks out receipts, forms and papers, reads the text and dates, and keeps them searchable. Scenery and everyday photos are classified separately.
Do I need to organise anything?
No. There are no folders or tags to set up. MemX reads, tags and dates each file, and you find it later by asking.
Does it change my files or see my other apps?
On iPhone it reads only the folders you pick. On Android it reads your photo library except the folders you exclude. It never moves or changes your files and cannot see anything in your other apps. You can turn it off at any time.
Are the files private?
Files are privately saved, encrypted at rest with a key per account, and every read is logged. Details are on the security page. Sensitive numbers are masked by default in Rediscover.
