Why we built MemX
Every day you take photos of important documents, save WhatsApp messages, record voice notes, and download PDFs. The information is all there — but six months later you can't find any of it.
We built MemX because storage was never the problem. Finding was. MemX reads everything you save — including text inside images and handwritten notes — so you can ask questions in plain English and get answers in seconds, not search results.
Your data is encrypted with Google Cloud KMS hardware security modules. Access is restricted to a small need-to-know set of engineers and every access generates a tamper-evident audit log. We will never sell your data. We will never train AI on it.

Arpit has spent over a decade building systems used by hundreds of millions of people. Before starting MemX in 2026, he led engineering teams at Google as a Staff Tech Lead Manager and built Elastic Block Store at AWS as a Senior SDE.
