Biography
Arpit has spent over a decade building systems used by hundreds of millions of people. He started at Microsoft, spent more than five years at Amazon Web Services where he shipped Elastic Block Store as a Senior SDE, and then led engineering teams at Google as a Staff Tech Lead Manager. He also invests in and advises early-stage AI startups.
He holds an MS from the University of Florida and is based in Bengaluru, India.
He founded MemX in 2026, an AI memory agent that reads everything you save (including text inside images and handwritten notes) so you can ask questions in plain English and get answers in seconds, not search results. He writes about practical AI on the MemX blog: how to use it well, what it actually costs, and when it isn't worth the trouble.
