If you are wondering whether your Claude chats are on Google, the accurate answer is narrow: only the conversations you chose to turn into a public share link, and only when that link was posted somewhere a search engine could crawl it.

This was not a breach, a hack, or a memory leak. Anthropic did not publish anyone's private history. Every conversation that surfaced got there because a person clicked Claude's share button, which creates a public web page, and then that public URL was posted to a forum or social feed where Google's crawler found it. How Claude sharing actually works
