Does MemX give legal advice?
No. MemX is a personal organization and practice-admin tool. It captures, indexes and helps you search your own documents and notes, and surfaces answers with their sources, but it does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for your own professional judgment. Always verify against the original source document.
How does MemX protect confidential client documents?
MemX is private by architecture: a key per account, encryption at rest, and every decryption audit-logged. Your content is never used to train any AI model.
Can I get answers with a source I can verify?
Yes. Ask MemX uses vector search and RAG across your captures and returns a synthesized answer with the source memory shown beside it. You can open the original contract, note or scan to confirm before relying on it.
Can I get my data out?
You can save any original file or its extracted text to your device from its share sheet, and you can request a copy of your personal data by email from Settings.
What platforms does MemX run on?
MemX is live on Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store). Asking, searching and AI need a connection. You can browse cached memories and queue uploads offline.
