Agent Ethan — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Agent Ethan (the "app"), provided by Neural Forge Technologies ([registered entity name and address]) ("Neural Forge", "we"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Agent Ethan is

Agent Ethan is an accessibility tool. Using Android's Accessibility Service, and only while a task you start is running, it reads the screen of the app you point it at and performs the taps, typing and scrolling to carry out that task. It is an aid you control, not an independent actor: it acts only on tasks you begin and stops when you pause it, stop it, or turn the service off.

3. Your account

You sign in with an email address or Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity under it. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use the app.

4. The Accessibility permission

The app needs the Accessibility permission to function. You grant it yourself in Android Settings and can revoke it at any time in Settings › Accessibility. When revoked, the app cannot operate other apps.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Agent Ethan only for lawful, personal, assistive purposes. You must not use it to breach the terms of the apps or services it operates, to access accounts that are not yours, to carry out bulk or abusive automation, or to do anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that misuse the app.

6. Actions you instruct, and confirmation

Agent Ethan carries out the tasks you ask for. It will not, on its own, take actions that cannot easily be undone — it does not press Pay, Buy, Book, Send money or Delete without handing control back to you first. You are responsible for the tasks you instruct and for any action you confirm. Check important actions before you confirm them.

7. Third-party apps and services

Agent Ethan operates the other apps on your device and relies on providers including Google (Gemini, Firebase) and a speech-recognition provider. Your use of those apps and services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party apps, their content, or their availability.

8. Fees

Agent Ethan is provided without a subscription; a daily allowance of assisted tasks is included. We may change the allowance or introduce paid options in future, with notice in the app or on this site.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". It uses AI to interpret your requests and the screen, and it can misunderstand or make mistakes. It is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical or financial advice. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neural Forge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss arising from actions the app took at your instruction or that you confirmed. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to [INR amount, e.g. the greater of amounts you paid us in the prior 12 months or INR 1,000].

11. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see Delete account). We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached or the service is discontinued.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of [city / state, e.g. Bengaluru, Karnataka] have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
